Is Renault F1 Team over?

Today FIA has disqualified Renault F1 team from the F1 championship for next 2 years. This is definitely a big blow to the Renault Team and its other divisions.

The punishment has proved that no one can get away with any corruption in one of the most glamorous sports on the earth. I will really miss Fernando Alonso (2 time F1 champion) from the racing grid. Hope that some other team will absorb his service.

Who has been hindering your growth ?

Generally I ignore the forwarded emails. But this one got my attention so thought of sharing with everyone.
------------------------------------------------
One day all the employees reached the office and they saw a big advice on the door on which it was written:
"Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym".
In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.
The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room.
The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up.
Everyone thought: "Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!".
One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul.
There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself.
There was also a sign next to the mirror that said:
"There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth:
it is YOU."

You are the only person who can revolutionize your life.
You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success.
You are the only person who can help yourself.
Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.
"The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself"
Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.

Arise! Awake! and stop not till the goal is reached.

Cell phone mania

From last few days I am thinking of changing my cell phone and buy a more decent piece. Now you might ask what is descent? To answer that, a cell phone must have following features to be called as descent,
1. Good screen size and resolution. I should be able to see the screen in sun light
2. Good internal memory (at least 50 MB), Support to expandable
3. FM radio (these days lots of radio stations are available so its nice to have this feature)
4. Music player (with support to atleast mp3 format)
5. Good calender option (I have this habit of setting reminders a lot)
6. Hands free (I use speaker phone a lot since at many places I have read that cell phone waves are dangerous for your health. I'm not sure whether its true but can't take chances :)
7. Good battery backup (battery should have standby time of atleast 4 days, I don't like to plug my phone frequently)
8. Durable (not that I've ahabbit of throwing my phone but if it falls by mistake I need not have to see the authorized service center :) Actually I'm a very good user of the cell phone and use them very carefully.
9. Weight of the cell phone <=100 gms
10. Dimensions (I don't like bulky phones since it becomes very difficult to carry them around)

Things which are not important to me (but I've seen shop keepers telling these things first)
1. Camera feature (VGS, megapixel, zoom...blah blah blah). I don't like cell phones with camera since I like using my Kodak digital camera which gives me professional photos like quality
2. Speaker noise (I use headset always so this is not important. I've seen shopkeepers actually playing music loudly :)
3. Games (again I hardly play games)

I have been using Nokia 2626 for last couple of years. It's a very basic phone with no fuss here and there. It is giving me trouble free service for last 2 years. The only problem with the phone is the screen display in the sunlight. This is a known issue with this piece.

I'm researching on the latest phones available in the market. Let's see how it goes. Will keep posted.
